detail how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect information when you use our mobile application
(the "Service"). By
downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected via the Kamwaala mobile application and related
services. It does not apply
to information collected offline or through other channels (unless expressly stated). The policy is intended
to be
comprehensive, clear, and accessible for users, regulators, and platforms such as Google Play.
a) Location Information
- We may collect approximate or precise location information to display nearby service providers (e.g.,
labourers, contractors,
electricians, plumbers, doctors) based on your permission settings.
- Location is collected only when you grant permission and typically only while the app is in use. We do
not collect continuous
background location unless you explicitly grant background location access in your device settings.
- Location is used to provide location-based search results, sorting, and map display within the app.
b) Automatically Generated User ID
- On first launch, the app generates a unique random User ID to identify your device and preferences
without requiring a signup.
- This User ID helps manage user settings, preferences, and optional profile information.
c) Optional Profile Information
You may choose to provide profile details to personalize your experience. These are optional and include:
- Full name
- Profile picture
- Mobile phone number
- City and State
Providing optional profile information is not required to use the app’s core functionality.
d) Service Provider Data
If you register as a service provider (listing owner), you may provide contact details, category of work,
address, and other
business details. Information you provide as a service provider will be displayed to users searching within
the app.
e) Automatically Collected Technical Data
We may collect technical and diagnostic information automatically to operate and improve the Service,
including:
- Device model and operating system version
- App version
- Crash logs and diagnostic data
- Temporary IP address for security and fraud prevention
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Provide location-based services: Display nearby service providers and enable map-based
search and navigation.
- Profile management: Allow you to create, update, or remove optional profile details.
- Service provider visibility: Allow other users to discover service providers who have
opted to list themselves.
- Security & abuse prevention: Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and misuse of the Service.
- Performance improvement: Analyze app usage and crash data to improve reliability and
features.
- Customer support: Respond to user inquiries and process account or data deletion
requests.

- Service providers & vendors: We may use trusted third-party service providers to host

protect the rights, property, or safety of Kamwaala, our users, or others.

Kamwaala is a platform that provides a directory and contact information for service providers. We act as a
conduit between users
and providers and do not perform background checks, certifications, or verifications for each listed
provider.
- We are not responsible for the quality, legality, conduct, or performance of service providers listed on
the platform.
- Any transaction, service agreement, or arrangement between you and a service provider is solely between
you and that provider.
- We strongly recommend that users exercise due diligence before engaging or making payments to any
service provider.
We provide the following controls and rights with respect to your personal data. Where applicable, rights
are subject to
verification and local legal requirements.
- Access & correction: You may access and update optional profile details (name, profile
picture, city, state,
mobile number) from within the app profile settings.
- Location permissions: You can manage location permissions through your device settings.
Revoking location
access will prevent the app from showing nearby results based on your live location.
- Data deletion: To request deletion of your account and associated data stored on our
servers, please contact our
support team via email at
kamwaala021@gmail.com. We will verify your identity and delete your data
in accordance with
applicable law. Note: removing information from the app may not remove caches or backups immediately.
- Objections & restrictions: You may object to or request restrictions on certain
processing activities where
applicable under local law; we will respond in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Our Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal
information from children
under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and
we will take steps to
delete that information as required by law.
Your information may be processed and stored in servers located in different countries. By using the Service
and providing
information, you consent to the transfer of your data to countries that may have different data protection
laws. We will take
reasonable steps to ensure that any international transfer complies with applicable legal requirements and
that appropriate
